3A – Your Entrepreneurship Story

As a kid I would always look forwards to my neighborhood's garage sale day. The week leading up to the garage sale I would collect old toys, clothes, and anything I could find and potentially sell. Carefully I would choose prices that would allow me to make the most profit. When it came time to Saturday morning I would wake up bright and early, ready for the big day of sales ahead of me. Some garage sales were rough while others were very successful. It was always exciting making sales as a kid because any money went a long way.

I took ENT3003 because I have always dreamed of being a businessman. I enjoy watching shark tank and seeing young entrepreneurs be successful. I figured this class would be a great place to start learning about entrepreneurship at a professional level. By the end of this class I hope to have the mindset of an entrepreneur and be able to transfer these skills to the workplace.

  1. Hey Ashton! I loved garage sales when I was younger. My family and I had one once, but my dad and I loved going to some around the neighborhood and just looking at the stuff. Online selling has become more of my thing now, it definitely reaches more people. However, garage sales are an experience more or less. But I hope you get what you want out of this class!
